I started watching this for the first time in I think 2011/12 after I was recovering from gallbladder surgery. I made it to s4 and then stopped.
About a year and a half ago I started up again from the beginning, and stopped again mid s4.
Yesterday I picked up from where I left off, and I was so happy to see Karl again, if even for a brief moment.
He is always a great comic relief when he shows up. I know he is a "pig" that the viewer is supposed to dislike, but I don't even care because he knows it and owns it and never tries to act like he is anything other than his true self.
I mean honestly, I'd MUCH rather see Karl instead of Tom.
I hope to see him a few more times throughout the last few seasons. I think it was a mistake not making him more of a series regular following s2.
Am I the only one that feels this way??
