Hi all, my psych has moved me to desoxyn for my severe ADHD. I was on dextro for a bit but that is hit and miss. Anyone here from the Los Angeles area that can recommend a pharmacy that carries it? I can already tell this is going to be rough trying to fill this because pharmacists often have a bad view of it. I just want to manage my ADHD. Any help is really appreciated. Please DM me if you know.

UPDATE: Rite Aid says it's on back order with their wholesaler McKesson, both brand and generic (apparently the system doesn't see that generic is not around any longer).

My doc tried sending it to a private pharmacy in West LA that I've used before. The pharmacist called me and wanted to charge me the full price of the bottle, up front, cash. Because, be says, he'll be throwing away the remaining 40 (I'm getting it 2x a day). He wouldn't even try my insurance. I tried to explain that I would be back next month but he obviously was trying to shoo me away and not deal with it. "Paying for the full bottle up front" ???? That's not a thing, obviously illegal and if I had 3 grand to waste I might do it just to cause trouble for him....

Anyway, back to Rite Aid for now. They said they'll keep ordering in the hopes that it comes.
