Desire Pearl First Timers

My wife (35) and I (37) just booked Desire Pearl Resort for 10/17-10/20. We've never been to a resort that is lifestyle friendly or even clothing optional. Advice for first-timers? We have dipped our toe in the lifestyle before and are open to playing on this trip. Just wanting to get an idea of what we are getting into before getting there.
We’ve heard there’s a chat so people who will be there at the same time can get to know each other leading up to the trip. Is that correct?
