My mum has just moved house, so this is a case of fitting my furniture from my old room into my new one, which is small. She doesn't want to buy new furniture, except shelves and a light fitting of some description. I think wall lights might help but she doesn't want to get the electrician out to fit them (which is fair enough as she's spent a lot already).
The room is 3.53 by 2.65m, with an extra square where the door is (see plan in pictures). I can't remember if those measurements took into account the skirting board or not. There's a window with a radiator underneath it on the bottom wall on the plan.
The furniture to be fitted in is as follows:
2 Wardrobes, 0.9 x 0.6m, plus door and drawer clearance
1 Drawer unit, 1.33 x 0.48m, plus drawer and door clearance
1 small fish tank, 0.33 x 0.33m
1 larger fish tank, 0.61 x 0.31m
Extendable Bed, 0.9 x 2.03m normally, 1.96 x 2.03 extended.
It's also worth noting that the bed will probably only be extended when guests are staying and therefore access to wardrobes or drawers is not important then.
Thanks!
