Position: Freelance Design Consultant – Logo, Brand, Style Guidelines, and Collateral Location: Remote

Define42 is a professional services and advisory firm focussed on protecting built assets from physical security risks such as crime and terrorism. We are a global firm based out of Australia who are going through a rebranding exercise as part of our growth strategy overseas. We are still a small and dynamic organisation who is looking to portray a professional yet fresh brand to the market in a traditionally very conservative sector.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Initial Consultation & Conceptualisation:

*1x Meeting with Leadership team to discuss brand identity, desired ‘look and feel’ and overall ambition for the brand. *We will provide previous brand and brand concepts, alongside some competitor analysis.

Development of a Logo Image

*Design and develop a professional logo suitable for a global audience.

Development of Style Guidelines:

*Create a detailed style guide that outlines a framework for the brand, including:

*Colour Palette (Primary and Secondary brand colours)

*Colour combinations including monochrome & accent colour palette

*Colour proportions scale

*Typography for written content (reports, website, presentations), including primary, secondary, and web safe font choices.

*Font sizes, weights, and colour guidance for digital only.

Development of Collateral and Templates

*Based on the Style Guidelines, prepare:

*Word document templates for use in professional report writing settings. Include set-up of headings, margins, styles, and other features.

*PowerPoint document templates for same use.

Collaboration and Review:

*Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that all elements are aligned with the vision of the organisation

*Provide an early draft, finalised draft, and 1x final revision as part of the development process.

*Recommend an appropriate amount of meetings or workshops to meet these requirements as part of the return brief.

REQUIREMENTS:

*Proven experience as an creative designer, graphic designer, freelance designer or similar with a track record working with or within professional services organisations.

*A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to meet the brief.

*Strong collaboration and communication skills.

*Preference towards working with a freelancer for this work as we wish to build an ongoing relationship.

Compensation

*We are interested in a fixed fee arrangement for this work, however we would expect a rate of USD$30/hr for the right person.
