Soul Coins and Undead?

So I have a Cleric who has the idea of being able to rescue the souls in Soul Coins by implanting them into corpses as part of things like Animate Dead and such. Iām just trying to come up with the system it might be possible, and what cost there might be in association with it. I love the creativity, but also kinda want to use it as a possible way to corrupt him. Iām just coming up blank.
Any ideas?
