Soundtrack tip for anyone buying on Steam
Post Body

I downloaded the game's OST from Steam and it's a mess for any reasonable album sorter due to the tags being for each individual original album, when they exist at all. Granted, all the tracks are from different albums on Liquicity, but if you're like me you might want to just listen to the game's OST as whole album as it were.

It's very easy to retag quickly with MusicBrainz, rather than manually re-tagging everything (and bonus, if you use Plexamp, doing it this way will show the tracks as a single album instead of multiples of the same album like if you use MP3tag). First, optionally, you can use flac frontend to convert from WAV to FLAC (or LAME to encode to MP3 if that's your thing) for proper tagging support, as WAV tagging is kinda jacked.

Once the files are in your preferred format (or just the original WAV, I'm not judging) then use MusicBrainz Picard to scan the files. "Descenders Soundtrack" will be an album option there, drag all albums onto "Descenders Soundtrack" and save... and that's it, you're done.

If you want to be fancy, you can also use Foobar2000 to embed album art for all the tracks as well. Just grab a pic from Descenders online from google image search or something, load the tracks in foobar, highlight all, right click and attach image to file and use "front cover" option.

Thought I'd post this here since it might be useful to some, and I saw a complaint in the Steam reviews for the OST about the mess with the tagging.
