I have a number of symptoms: balanitis with one area of redness on the glans and a slightly red inflamed meatus. I also have folliculitis on my buttocks and a red scrotum that sometimes itches.

Dermatologist told me they thought it was fungal based, but I've been using nystatin for 2 weeks with no improvement. I used clomitrazole for a week before trying nystatin and that didnt have any change either. I've had these symptoms for a little over 4 weeks. I also tried using a Benzoyl Peroxide wash for 2 weeks on the folliculitis and while I think its improving, it's still there.

Has anyone seen what could be causing these symptoms? Worries it's due to a viral infection, like herpes
