Wanted to share some tips I’ve found helpful
Post Body

Hi everyone! I have derma and am still struggling with it daily, but recently I’ve found a few things that have helped reduce the number of wounds on my body. I know they might not help everyone, but I know I’m always looking for new “derma-hacks” so I figured some of you may be too! When you’re home or wherever comfortable (and under clothes 24/7) cover everything you have picked, might pick, know you’ll be tempted to pick, etc. I’ve used bandaids, liquid bandage, hydrocolloid (spelling?) patches, and medical tape for this. If I pick it off, I pick it off then run and put a new cover on it. Immediately. It’s helped me a lot.
Also if you notice yourself scanning or picking try to keep something in both hands (fidget toy, phone, etc.). Or even sit on your hands for a few if you can tolerate it.
These have helped me and I hope they help someone else!
