Hello all, I’m fairly new to Depop and would really appreciate some advice as I am conflicted on how to proceed. I recently purchased a vintage cardigan that was listed to be “like new” and had no disclosed/mentioned flaws. As I was opening the package up, I immediately noticed ed a small yellow stain on the front of the cardigan and was really bummed. It’s not the biggest stain in the world, but for an item that was described to be in “like new” condition I expected there to be no stains. Before purchasing I did see that the seller mentioned “no returns” in their bio (which I was ok with since this is not a problem I anticipated having), but since the stain wasn’t disclosed I reached out to the seller about returning it anyways. The seller essentially replied that they weren’t aware of any stains and that they didn’t realize that they had listed it to be “like new,” maintaining that they did disclose it was vintage (which to me was a little silly because things can be vintage and not be stained). After looking at some of her other listing I honestly do believe that she might not have noticed the stain (we’re all human) since she does disclose flaws/wear in her other items, I’m just not sure how to proceed since I wouldn’t have purchased this item had I known it had a stain (no matter how small). After looking through this subreddit and reading about similar situations I think it would be best to reach out to Depop and open a claim, though I do feel conflicted because the stain isn’t too big and the item wasn’t super expensive (with shipping and fees it came out to about $25). I’ll include images of the stain (which does not photograph very well but is more visible in person) and the messages between myself and the seller. Not sure if I’m making a bigger deal over a stain than I should be. I appreciate the help :)

Definitely it’s not as described since she did not disclose. Her “shop policy “ means nothing. They’ll side with you op
