Iām a seller on Depop, and Iād like to think Iām pretty reasonable with my prices. I pop a boost on my items to get them on peopleās feeds, chuck a discount on if theyāre not selling, and am pretty generous with accepting discounts and offering bundles.
I am so sick of these massive accounts, that seem to be bulk buying clothes in op shops, then marking up the original price by almost 6 times the amount, then putting that price in the shipping, and displaying the real price as $1!!! It is crazy misleading to customers, and boosts their items to the top because of how ācheapā they are, when in reality itās $30 for a thrifted singlet.
Are there any other smaller sellers finding this super frustrating??? I only really sell clothes that I have bought for myself at some stage, because I refuse to go and ransack my local op shops only to resell for 6x the price I got it for. Idk, just a rant because Iām feeling so frustrated with how greedy some sellers can get, and they are always successful it seems!!!
Please stop putting your price on the shipping, itās likely that itās repressing seller who are reasonably pricing their items - AND PLEASE GOD STOP DRAINING THE OP SHOPS OF ANYTHING GOOD.
I swear yāall are the reason they are pricing shit up when itās branded or cute, because they know ur there to buy in bulk and resell on Depop š¤¦āāļø
