Buyer wants a refund but it's been alittle over a month

Post Body

Usually I'm pretty understanding when it comes to refunds — I don't just hand them out but if it's a mistake on my part, I will refund.

I sold a pair of 90s Nine West leather loafers (in good condition, no flaking when I tried them on or any other real flaws). I know that vintage shoes can disintegrate over time/depending on how stored, etc.

The only issue I have with refunding is 1. why did it take the buyer over a month to message me about this issue if the problem happened when she tried it on. And if she did wear a couple times and then the next time — they started to disintegrate, is that not no longer my problem? Or am I wrong? 2. I honestly wont even lie, I just moved and I really dont have the money to be giving out refunds for sales that are over a month old 😅

Basically just looking for advice — what should I do? I don't want to receive a bad review if I don't refund since she can still leave one but I feel like ...girl it's been a month and you're just now messaging me about this "overlooked flaw". I've only ever gotten 5 star reviews in the 4 years I've been reselling (w/ the exception of one 4 star review that stated no issues).

They are vintage. This is common. Plus it’s after 30 Days you don’t have to refund

Seller op states shoes seemed to be in good condition. I’m sure she didn’t realize, it’s not easy to tell if she didn’t wear them. Calm tf down 🤦🏻‍♀️
