DPDR is reeking havok on my relationship.
Post Body

So I figured this would be a good place to post this and get other peopleā€™s opinions, this is something Iā€™ve been dealing with for most of my life, I first started noticing it when I was about 7 or so and I am now 26. Iā€™ve had quite a few bad patches where i would go for days or even weeks feeling like I wasnā€™t myself. As Iā€™ve gotten older and more aware and finally started to better understand my symptoms and manage them more effectively they havenā€™t been as severe. However more recently due to stress Iā€™ve been having more frequent episodes which have taken a toll on my relationship. Does anyone out there have any advice in regards to helping my partner understand and help me through those periods as well as advice to help me be more ā€œpresentā€ and empathetic when Iā€™m feeling distant and unemotional towards him? Any advice would be very helpful, thank you for reading!
