I figured I’d put out some tips for emergency preparedness . We will be almost three days below freezing, please be ready.

Stock up on canned goods and bottled/gallons of water -have alternative ways to cook food ex. Propane stove -have emergency source of heat ex. Propane/kerosene heater
charge any battery packs you have, flashlights, and such
if you can afford a small generator this is best, and at least two gallons of gasoline
if you have outside hose spigots, cover them, unhook any garden hoses as these will freeze if left connected -make sure you fuel tank in your vehicle is full -get a cooler big enough to keep your frozen/fridge goods in. It will be cold enough outside to keep your food if you lose power. -a oil lamp is a good idea. Small source of heat and light
