Post Body
I figured Iโd put out some tips for emergency preparedness . We will be almost three days below freezing, please be ready.
- Stock up on canned goods and bottled/gallons of water -have alternative ways to cook food ex. Propane stove -have emergency source of heat ex. Propane/kerosene heater
- charge any battery packs you have, flashlights, and such
- if you can afford a small generator this is best, and at least two gallons of gasoline
- if you have outside hose spigots, cover them, unhook any garden hoses as these will freeze if left connected -make sure you fuel tank in your vehicle is full -get a cooler big enough to keep your frozen/fridge goods in. It will be cold enough outside to keep your food if you lose power. -a oil lamp is a good idea. Small source of heat and light
I hope this helps! Stay warm yโall.
