Geographic Tongue? That’s what my doctor thinks it is but I’m not 100% sure
Post Body
So I am currently having of a flair-up if what my doctor thinks is Geographic Tongue, but I’m not 100% sure that’s what it is am am seeking other opinions.
This is the second time I’ve had this happen to my tongue and this time it is much worse than the first.
The patch that can be seen in this picture has small bumps on it and is causing me a great deal of pain right now. This makes it difficult to eat anything. The pain extends maybe half an inch around the patch too.
It started out smaller and has continued to grow over the course of the past 2 weeks. I’m at a loss for what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
EDIT: I did forget to mention that I was on a treatment of Nystatin for 1.5 weeks as well.
