When I see very pretty feminine teeth with a nice rounded shape I usually make a casual comment about it...each time I've done this it's been after a (usually young) girl with decent hygiene says some sort of self-conscious remark about how much they "hate their teeth".
It's always gone over well...when they're a patient in the chair and I've got scrubs on. (appeal to authority?)
But when I said it to a good friend, over the internet, she was immediately weirded out until I explained what I was talking about. It happened a few months ago with another friend.
I just think it's funny how people who value my opinion on lots of other aspects of their lives doubt me when I comment on their teeth...but people who don't know me at all beyond the fact that I am wearing scrubs at a dentist's office will immediately appreciate what I've got to say.
This isn't my first taste of this...my own husband refuses to floss and insists that he'll be fine if he doesn't get a cleaning for a few years and dentists are evil yadda yadda yadda
But really though you'd think friends and family would be more appreciative :/
