So it’s almost my 3rd month actively practicing(currently a GP in a public hospital) I can say I’m pretty confident in my skills doing most of the job, except for extractions because i didnt really learn that in university so i’m considered practicing it for first time now. Every now and then i face a difficult extraction case(or might not be that difficult but atleast above my qualifications) As i said, I’m in a public hospital in a small rural area in a 3rd world country so you can imagine how hard it is dealing with patients there. That the surgery cases i struggle with(that sometimes i even have to refer mid-way) get really overwhelming and annoying sometimes that i get back home and keep thinking about the difficult workday i had..especially that i don’t really have a lot going on in my life lately..just work, internet and hanging out with friends So thinking about work takes a huge portion of my time to be honest.
Sorry for the long rant, but any advice would be helpful, and if that would get better by time
TL;DR How to get over thinking about work when I’m outside the clinic?
