My practice still uses physical xrays

It takes like 7 or 8 mins for a single radiograph to develop and comes out on this tiny physical x-ray film. I've tried convincing my principal dentist to go digital as its cheaper in the long run, quick to develop and you can adjust contrast, zoom in etc. Do practices still use traditional physical xrays nowadays? What're your thoughts

Comments

Yup we still use them in my main office (I'm a hygienist) and I will be temping at another office that also uses them. I don't mind honestly. I find the sensors so bulky that it's difficult to position correctly in small mouths or gaggers.
