Is Being a Dental Assistant a good career choice?
Post Body

A little background: I am 25 years old, I am currently getting my BS in Business Management in a CSU school. I work 30 hours as a grill making a bit more than the California minimum wage which is 15.25 in LA. I have been starting to reevaluate where I am with my life and wonder if getting a degree in business is even worth it. I remember back in my last year of high school/first year of college, that I would love to work for Google or Disney. But years after I still don’t know specifically what I want with a business major.

now that I’m in my mid 20s, my view in life has changed. I’m scared that if I drop out of college(I first enrolled in 2016), all of the progress I made would have been for nothing. It’s weird to say this, but I wouldn’t have picture me dropping out and switch to a career totally different from a business major

I have been thinking of being a dental assistant. I heard it does not take long to finish school, and that the pay is good. I have been thinking of this ever since I gotten braces back in HS, considering how it changed my appearance and the confidence it gave me when I finally got them off lol. But of course, growing up I thought that a four year degree is better than some trade degree.
