I have a cleaning tomorrow and I’m scared to death. I have fairly clean teeth but they are ugly and I get panicked anytime has to look at my teeth for any reason. And a whole hour of that makes me want to off myself. I will cry the whole time and have a panic attack in my car after where I will consider taking my life. That’s how much I hate this. Yes I’m in therapy. I have a wonderful therapist but she doesn’t get it. What can I say to the hygienist so she won’t look at me like a freak for crying and staring at the wall the whole time. TIA

Sounds like body dysmorphia. I guarantee you that your hygienist has seen way worse teeth. They aren't judging you at all.
