I recently had a SRP done and it was horrible she didn't get my back teeth completely numb but I powered through it and got it done.
I was originally told this would be done over 2 appointments but she did it all in 1?? The pain after is horrible on the side she didn't numb even after 5 ampules of lidocaine. It wakes me up it's hard to eat let alone brush my teeth.
I find myself extremely tempature sensitive on that side and I have been brushing and flossing but find it hard because it hurts!!
The dentist is refusing to help Mr until my appointment at the end of February. What can I do. I'm taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours and it's only taking the pain from omg rip out all my teeth now!! To an annoying throb. What can I do??
How many days has it been since the procedure? Some things just take time. It can take a week for things to subside unfortunately. Try warm salt water rinses. You can take ibuprofen and Tylenol together for extra pain relief (although ask the dentist what doses to take because I forget what is safe).
