Is Dental Hygiene School as hard as they say?

Post Body

I'm a 19 year old who is giving serious consideration to becoming a Dental Hygienist and I was wondering how doable the schooling is. I really want to become a Dental Hygienist because I'd love a job where I could help and interact with people everyday, but while also having decent pay and a work life balance. I have been worrying however that I may not be smart enough to get through the schooling because all I have seen on reddit is of it being an absolute nightmare. I was a straight A student for the most part in high school, but I worry I may not have what it takes. Also on this subreddit I either see people who absolutely love the job and others who wish they chose a different career path which makes me think of considering other jobs. Any and all advice/experience on this would be really appreciated.
