Any advice new grad student
Post Body

hi! so im a recent graduate who just graduated from a program and my externship place gave me the opportunity to work for them before i had graduated and i accepted it thinking this could be a good start for me but thing is ive been planning on leaving that place now bc the pay is really bad is only 10$ so i was thinking of only staying there for a few months to learn and gain knowledge bc she does every category in dentistry but now im thinking that it would be really messed up if I leave bc the assistant is really putting her time on training me and the doctor also trieds to make time so she can train me as well so I feel bad if i leave when they’re investing all this time on me just for me to leave ? Any advice guys?

I understand where you’re coming from when you say you’d feel bad leaving, but that’s only human. What’s not human, is the pay. $10 an hour isn’t a livable wage, nor is it your worth. I promise you there are many other amazing offices out there willing to pay double that. Best of luck friend. :)
