My hopes for Deno
Post Body

As a mainly front end JS dev writing the occasional API with Node, I have one big hope for the Deno community. And that is to have a proper back end framework that is backed by majority of the community, kind of like Rails and Django. Might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like this is the one crucial thing that went wrong with the Node ecosystem.

As much as I love having the choice of frameworks in the Node ecosystem, there really is such thing as too much. With practically a dozen different frameworks to choose from, all accomplishing basically the same thing but none being really polished, it's kind of painful.

While Express was easy to get started with, it gets really repetitive to have to do all the same models migrations routes stuff every time. Sails, Loopback, and Adonis tried to make a full-featured framework, but communities are small and fractured. I'd love to see a full-featured MVC (which can be adapted to serve JSON instead) like Rails/Django and a lightweight alternative like Express.

Might be too much to ask for, but a guy can dream.
