I’ve been looking into practicing for about a year, and lurking on this sub for the last few months. You all have been incredibly helpful and insightful and i thank you all for the knowledge and perspectives you’ve shared. Initially I wanted to work with King Paimon, but from what I’ve read and been told, I’m likely not ready or worthy of his service at this time. It was suggested I try Bune or Clauneck for my first attempt. After reading about the two, I felt a stronger connection with Bune.

My questions with Bune are moreso about the the ritual itself: When it comes to the sigil, would making it in my own blood cause a stronger connection, is it unnecessary, or anything I need to be wary of when using blood in a ritual? And as far as offerings, how do they work? Do I just present them with my altar, or is there a particular way to “activate” them? Do I consume them after or discard of them in any particular manner?

Random Paimon question: I’ve heard different things regarding him appearing with two other entities. They typically precede him from what I’ve read. I was told that if the two spirits do not accompany him, that I should abandon the ritual and try again later. Why is this? Am I at risk or does it mean I’ve been deemed unworthy? I’ve also read something similar that Paimon is known to bring dangerous/undesirable entities with him. Are those likely the same two I was told about by others? I was told to work on protection circles and something with a triangle to protect me from the spirits that may accompany King Paimon. And while I’ve seen he tends to be highly selective in general, is there aaa benchmark of sorts that would indicate I’m ready to begin attempting to work with him?
