Not sure how else to start this; I'm looking for Leftists to run for office!
Now is the best time there's every been, in so many ways...
Local, State, Fed, doesn't matter, pick one in your area that looks the most winnable of fits your life experience and go for it!
I know some of you are Ancom or anti-reform, and not trying to say you're wrong or bad. But I urge you to give it a second thought... I know Marx predicted that the Revolution would happen when Capitalism failed, and it's failing now! I know he predicted a violent revolution, but he made those predictions before Capitalism started destroying the planet itself; I don't think he ever considered that Capital might literally drive the human race to extinction while falling, which seems more and more likely every day.
Openly Anti-Capitalist Leftist in power could stop that, but more importantly, they would legitimize Socialism as an alternative in the minds of the general populace. Hell, even losing could still be a massive push to the Overton window... If you end up being right that violent revolution is necessary that could be an essential first step... Think about how much ground the Fascists were able to gain just by creating the image that Fascism is "part of the debate"; we need to step up our Praxis.
If you lose then you can say you tried, a story you can tell for years; and if you win you could help save human lives...

Including me there are 3 of us (that I'm aware of) running in 2020, I'm hoping that number will grow if we put the word out, and I'd like to get at least a loose line of communication.
No official party, no rules about policies letting us split ourselves apart other than being farther Left than the Corporate Dems (a common problem I've noticed here on the Left).
So let me know if you have a seat in mind, if you want help finding one for you, or if you just want to help!
