Will the empire funding genocide in Palestine really allow you to simply vote your way out of capitalism?

I'm curious if most of you still really think that an electoral process can undo the system we currently have, or if you think other measures may have to be taken. Will the state that regularly bombs, invades and genocides simply lay down and accept defeat as you vote for socialists in office? Does this seem likely?
