Combat and Godly Information
Claimed: Yes
Powers:
Taphokinesis: Catherine's powers reflect the wrath of Demeter, and as such she can cause plants to rot rather than grow. This requires focus on a specific plant or area of plants, such as a patch of grass, rather than working in a radius, and it requires concentration on her part. Furthermore, rotting a larger plant requires a correspondingly larger amount of energy, and she cannot affect anything larger than a small tree.
Thermokinesis: Though not powerful enough to be considered cryokinesis, Catherine can lower the temperature around in an area up to ten feet around her by up to ten degrees Fahrenheit. The change in temperature lasts for as long as she focuses on it, then returns to normal.
Curse of Hunger: Catherine is capable or reproducing a much weaker version of the curse her mother laid on Erysichthon, which leaves the target constantly hungry and unable to satisfy their hunger no matter how much they eat. Catherine's curse lasts for a maximum of six hours, and doing this is extremely draining for her, leaving her exhausted and irritable, so she chooses not to use it except under extreme circumstances.
Weapon of Choice: A sling that transforms into a bracelet, and a pouch of Celestial bronze sling bullets

Backstory
Jonas Nordmark was a farmer, scratching out a living on the plains of North Dakota and only barely making the payments on his mortgage to keep himself afloat. He met the goddess Demeter during an exceptionally harsh winter, while she was walking the earth and mourning her separation from Persephone. Catherine Nordmark was born shortly after the encounter and left with her father, who raised her on his own, sending her to Camp Half Blood for the first time during the summer of 2017, when she was claimed by her mother. However, while she was at camp, her father received notice from the bank that held his mortgage, informing him that they were repossessing his land due to his failure to make payments due to a series of devastating crop failures. Taking this as a sign that Demeter had abandoned him, Jonas took his own life while Catherine was still at camp.
Upon her return to North Dakota, Catherine was sent to live with her grandparents, who she had never met before arriving at their house. Her grandfather was the leader of a deeply bigoted fundamentalist Christian sect, living in a closed-off, insular community in which only members of the church were permitted to settle. Catherine's insistence that her mother was the goddess of the harvest did not gain her any favors within the community, and the next few years were an exercise in Catherine learning to keep her head down and her mouth shut in order to get through the day, until early in 2021 when she made up her mind to return to camp. She snuck out of her grandparents' house in the middle of the night, taking only a bag with her clothes, the sling and ammunition she'd received at camp and which the Mist had caused her grandparents to overlook, and as much of their money as she could steal and shove into her bag on the way out of the house. She hiked to Fargo, then made her way to New York by train, arriving at camp in early May- that is, now.
Now
Catherine walked down Half Blood Hill, having walked all the way to camp from the Montauk train station. Her bag was slung over her right shoulder and she held her sling in her left hand, her pouch of Celestial bronze sling bullets hanging from her belt. Her eyes were scanning for danger, but now that she was in camp, she was a lot more comfortable. She knew where the Demeter cabin was, so she started to make her way there, striding purposefully across the grass.
