Post Body

So I've been reading IL and I'm really enjoying it! My group and I mainly play CoC and Alien. I haven't run any games of DG, and I will probably run some scenarios before I start IL (any suggestions are welcome).

My main question is, do I really need to read the Agent's handbook prior to running IL, or would I be set with just the Need to Know? I have a pretty firm grasp on the rules of CoC, and I know the systems are very similar. I am considering buying the Agent's handbook considering its part of the bundle of holding right now, but I'd really rather not have to read the entire thing before I run IL, as my time to read such things is limited.

So if it is necessary to read the handbook, any absolutely important sections I should read through? If it helps, my group doesn't care about to much background lore, they just enjoy playing, so any background stuff about Delta Green would mostly be for me. Thanks in advance!

Edit: just realized the typo in the title, question*
