Quick run down, I ran dell diagnostics and all tests passed except for the hard drive, I took it out and hooked it up externally to another PC, it was recognized, I fully cleaned it and formatted, then I popped it back into the Dell Inspiron to run test, this time all tests passed including the hard drive, then I went through thorough test mode and when done thoroughly all tests pass except for the hard drive, took it back out to pop into the other PC externally, recognized and healthy, popped back into the Inspiron it tells me to reseat hard drive and the diagnostics test still says the hard drive test has failed.
I apologize for the length but I'm trying to narrow it all down, should I just replace the hard drive and reinstall windows? If so, can I save the old hard drive and use it as an external storage since its recognized?

Heya man, replying from the Inspiron and so far so good, I removed the HHD and replaced it, installed a clean version of windows 10 from the USB, the PC booted up as if it was a new computer, I did replace the keyboard which ended up being an easy fix, unfortunately its only upgradable to 8gb ram so when I get that in ill make a new video explaining how much of a difference it is.
The only problems I've had with this thing in the past is slow speeds and then the hard drive failing either from age or it got bumped causing it to fail, either way its running pretty fast now that I am not using it to store important files which always seemed to bog it down.
