XPS 9710 charger

I have a 9710 charger and the light on it turns on indicating that it gets power. And works. But I leave it plugged in for a few days just in the wall the light will turn off. I have to manually unplug it and replug it in for it to start working again.
Anyone else have this issue or is it just a faulty charger?
