Adding a PCIe graphics card to a PowerEdge R350 and R360

Sounds easy right? The server comes advertised with PCIe expansion capability if you purchase the riser card, which I did. But it doesn't matter which graphics card you install, the internal fan speed will be cranked up to almost 70% in all cases. This is too loud for the place where these servers will live. I'm guessing that what they meant was NIC cards or other very low power cards. But even the lowest power low profile graphics cards on the market are afflicted by this fan noise issue. There are no options in idrac that reduce the fan noise substantially, and IPMI is apparently disabled.

Was there some other combination of configuration options that I should have selected?

I also noticed that you can add a GPU to the new R360 (though I'm guessing it's just for crypto or something because it has no monitor outputs). Does that mean I could add an after market card to the R360?

In the Advanced System Configuration menu for the R360, there are three options concerning ambient temperature. What do they mean and can I use them to add a graphics card? I am just trying to have something other than VGA without having to rely on converters and adapters. Thanks!
