Battery for Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop

Hello all,
my gaming laptop is close to 3 years old, and my laptop does not work anymore without the power plugged, the battery has gone. I dont really need a new battery as this laptop is not really mobile and is always used just to game.
I wanted to know if there is any issue if I dont replace the battery and continue to power it by plugging it? Will it affect the laptop in any way!?
