Hey guys, AAA is being too expensive and wanna snatch money from my parents, car insurance for my family is expiring in a week.
Need to pick up car insurance from an insurance provider that serves Delaware that gives out
1 year long coverage
That covers for Bodily injury, Property damage, Uninsured motorist bodily injury, UM property damage, Personal Injury Protection, Funeral expenses, Comprehensive, Collision, Rental car reimbursement, and Special equipment.
Coverage for these listed as well as a separate home insurance plan coverage through the same provider as well that covers home for 1 year.
Any recommendations? Costco connect already denied for my home coverage quote saying the home isn't within a fire dept and fire hydrant 5 mile radius.
Any other car and home insurer in Delaware that gives an easier time with excellent auto high coverage limit, excellent with claims processing (and doesn't drop or deny coverage), and gives home insurance coverage that isn't so restrictive on the fire proof/fire dept/fire hydrant thing? The house dwelling coverage that's about to expire for my parents is $370k btw, so I need an insurer that's gonna cover/match that much.
I told them that hurricane Isasis hit back in 2020 and did minor damage to my roof when they asked about prior claim history and that was the only claim...and the insurance rep giving me the quote suddenly denied me coverage offer for my home...
If I'm shopping around, should I just lie and not mention any claims for them to approve my coverage and pick up my home insurance?
