For anyone who remembers what happened with DelawareGW collapsing or the bots plaguing most of the regional area subs (I mean, who here can't tell the difference when these Euro-trash tattooed basement dwellers claim to be in from the area, they're not even from the continent!) ; if we don't actively maintain the "localness" to these subs, they will be lost to the bots and scammers. Delmarvaundergound was formed when this exact cycle started and many of us joined this sub as a response. We are quite active in getting rid of the fakes and also encourage transparency and communication, rather than secret goal$ of other Mods.

Unlike other mods, this mod allows for free discussion and communication and even community participation on the directions the sub/rules go. Please use this post if anyone wishes to have open discussion about this topic, if you feel there is a better approach, and anything else to help ensure we can maintain some regional sub-reddits.

Remember, if your just looking for wank bate, it's everywhere. If a sub is theme local, we should try and keep it such.

*FYI, for those not aware, this all was propagated when another "locally" based sub-reddit decided to begin banning its members for outing bots, even while the MOD team agreed one of the members hadn't violated any rule of the sub and actually was helping the stated sub's mission. Obviously this action was influenced by their desire to maintain the bots as it helps their own revenue stream, and they care nothing for the sub community.
