I know Degrassi is primarily a show about teens aimed at teens, so I know this would never happen, but I still think it would be cool.

I was thinking that a show about Hazel and Terri all grown up would be so cool. These were two OGs done dirty. It's been discussed at length about how Degrassi did a poor job with black characters as a whole, so won't delve too much into that. Hazel was Paige's BFF and Jimmy's GF, intricately tied to multiple main characters, but she was just kind've irrelevant and just there. I'll admit watching the show I never cared for about Hazel. Years later I saw clips of Andrea Lewis and she was just awesome. Hazel could have been an amazing characters, but the writers didn't do that. I think the reaction to Terri's plus modeling s/l is a mixed bag. I think it's pretty good. You can be beautiful even if you're not a size zero. Terri was a really beautiful girl. When she wore something more form fitting you could tell she wasn't even that big, just slightly bigger than the other girls. In 2022 no one would bat an eye lash at Terri. I always had more of an hourglass figure and developed earlier, so seeing a girl with a more womanly figure was relatable. I didn't like how Terri just went in the hospital and that was basically it. Like eventually she was just off the show.

Andrea Lewis and Christina Schimdt are real life good friends and I've seen their chemistry. They would be great together and I could believe them as still friends after all these years. Maybe they're both married with kids now, maybe they're dating. I just think a show with them as mains, getting the spotlight they deserve would be cool. I would definitely watch it. I know they'd never do it, but I still think it would be cool.
