Im on season 4 Rick just came back and now im on time stands still Pt 1. Everything leading up to this episode could have prevented the shooting starting with Rick not returning.
As a parent Rickās mother shouldnāt have even wanted Rick to return for the possibility of retaliation for what he did to Terri.
The bullying shouldnāt have happened. Iām not excusing what Rick did and he did have it coming because what did anyone expect? However it got way out of hand and there should have been extra precautions regarding Rick traveling to and from.
Fucking RADDICH !! What a waste of a principal. I wouldnāt say heās bad as the Shepp however heās up there and heās definitely responsible not just as a principal but as a grown ass adult who had a child come to him and tell him that heās being bullied and to tell him to basically get over it made it seem as though no matter what happened Rick there was nothing he could do about it. He should have known there was an issue especially because he stopped Emma for the attempt she made at bullying to get cool points. And Rick having issues with taking his angerās to the extreme should have been monitored very closely.
So I definitely agree with your point about how Rick went to radditch about what was happening to him because he definitely didnāt say it in a way that wouldāve come off as he was being bullied so I definitely agree. The parents could have voted against this at a school board meeting however it didnāt happen on school grounds and like you said itās hearsay so I donāt see how there wouldāve been any prevention for Rick coming back other than the students parents having more of us say I think there wasnāt a big enough fuss, about how people felt about back to school but in my original post, I never mentioned radditch not letting Rick back
No youāre not picking it apart I want to have a discussion because I know I may have missed things and other people have takes
I definitely get that Iām not a Rick apologist by any means however this is just me expressing my take on it and this specific response was weird

I can see this because the episode is when he hurt Terri she was trying to protect him from people when she picked him up she was rushing him into the car and telling people to stay away from him as if he was the victim..
