I remember liking this season???? So what???? Anyway…. I didn’t hate it but pretty much everyone pissed me off at one point or another.

Ashley & Craig? 😐🤨 BOOOOOOOO!!!!!! 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅 Anyways.

I hated that Chester kid?? Very cringey. He wants to be Eli Goldsworthy sooooo bad LMAOOO “welcome to degrassi” BOY BYE

I love you Emma Nelson you will always be famous. I feel so bad for her, but even outside of that she’s getting these little snarky lines that make me laugh, the way she deals with her trauma is a little reminiscent of how I’ve been guilty of dealing before, even when she has some bitchy moments like the Chris/Liberty comment or throwing manny’s pregnancy in her face, to me, it’s never anything where it feels out of character. It’s just highlighting some of her flaws. Having flaws doesn’t make someone a bad character or person. It humanizes them to a degree when done right. Emma’s up to this point not done anything to me that’s irredeemable. I really appreciate the balance of writing someone who you want to root for, and have empathy towards, even if they aren’t always nice and perfect, especially when that’s exactly what she always tries to be. I really watched Emma struggle and change this season. I think she might be my favorite character of the rewatch so far. Definitely in the top 3.

The other 2 of my top 3. Jimmy Brooks and Hazel! Hazel is SUCH a good friend. Holds Jimmy down when needed, calls Paige out on her crap but is still supportive. Jimmy’s another character with a really well rounded personality and an impactful arc this season.

I really loved all the Craig/Jimmy/Marco friendship stuff this season.

Also really loved seeing Alex’s interactions with Ellie, Marco & Paige.

Ok back to Craig and Ashley cuz seriously girl? That man tried to have a baby on you.. didn’t apologize for months, dated the girl he cheated on you with, when he finally apologized, he did it half assed, in a song that he used to beat you to a record deal with.. but you draw the line at him being bipolar and a little clingy? Alright mama. I don’t feel sorry for either one of you. Stay in England.

A BOY IS DEAD AND YOUR BEST FRIEND IS PARALYZED FOR LIFE. EMMA, TOBY & SEAN ARE TRAUMATIZED. YOU AND YOUR KAREN CUT GET KICKED OUT OF SCHOOL AND YOU HAVE THE NERVES TO SAY “HAVENT I BEEN PUNISHED ENOUGH?” NO!!! YOU HAVENT!!!!

Toby reverting back to that one episode where he pretended to be creepy stalking Terri as his only personality 24/7 after they set him up for what could’ve been another great arc about how different people deal with trauma differently but instead we really don’t see you again until 15 episodes later…. Also I’ve seen people asking why Alex gets no backlash for time stands still, and I’m pretty sure no one in universe knows she was involved.. spinner only tells on Jay, and also Alex set up the trap after being asked but Jay & Spinner were the ones who set up Jimmy. Alex’s involvement technically ends at the prank. She’s not innocent but she’s not AS fucked up as the other two I guess?? Still… not cool.

Rick deserved most of what he got up until people started physically assaulting him daily. I never felt bad for him but the line between protecting the school, standing up for Terri, speaking out against domestic violence etc. was crossed at the dot. And when Emma noped out, that’s where it should’ve ended. (In universe, speaking as a hypothetical student of degrassi and not a viewer critiquing a show) they could’ve just ignored him into oblivion after that. It then became “bullying is fun and this is the best target” especially for loser ass spinner & Jay.

I really hope Sean is able to heal his inner child.
