Everyone has stress and pressure in their lives; work, friends, family, etc. You face a greater burden. While you push yourself to give all the competing priorities their due attention, you smile and pretend to be something you aren't - a strong independent woman that society told you to be. You feel trapped and oppressed. You work hard to keep up appearances, but it's not the real you. You work hard to keep it below the surface and you want the freedom to be yourself.
Everything society taught was to be empowered and be heard, but it doesn't ring true to you. You need to let go and submit. It's what you crave and need to stay sane. Keeping up the facade is suffocating and you feel like you're about to break, but revealing the truth about yourself is next to impossible with those around you. Maybe it was trauma or abuse in past. Maybe you just need to let go and find in the storm that's your life. And the only way to do that is to embrace the truth. You are nothing. You are worthless. You need someone to see and accept that about you. You can't live the lie and bear the fact no one understands what you really are.
