Am I the only one who wants to see Luke and Jessica eventually married in the mainstream MCU like they are in current comics?
Post Body

I get people say their relationship is different from the comics considering she killed Reva, but it’s not like she knew that Reva was his wife when she killed her by accident. With rumors of Luke being in Born Again (they’re filming in Harlem near Pop’s Barber Shop) along with Jessica, I don’t see why they can’t be a married couple down the line. Or at least rekindle and have a stable relationship.

In JJ Season 1, I think they could’ve explored their relationship but there were other sub plots that took up too much screen time. An example, Spoiler: Hogarth’s divorce with Wendy sub plot took almost the whole season to finish and the payoff was mediocre imo. They should’ve just had Hogarth and Pam as the couple from the jump instead of having screen time taken away from the main characters.

I’d be down to see them have their own Disney series after Born Again where they’re trying to navigate the challenges of being heroes and newlyweds, along with Jessica finally getting over the trauma Kilgrave caused her. Danny could also come back for a couple team ups with Luke if Finn’s ever going to be in the MCU again. I guess a man can only dream though. There’s a lot of potential in the mainstream MCU with Daredevil, Luke, Jessica, Punisher, and Iron Fist (hopefully) in the coming future but we’ll have to see what happens.
