Here we fucking go! These people are starting to push this narrative!! Cat Ladies and Lesbians beware, these nutjobs are coming for us!!! 😬😵💫😱
Let them come, I have plenty of sage and know how to grow digitalis.
I have it at home, I’ll look for the precise title later this evening. It was short but really interesting, I had no idea about some of what’s in there. I got it when I visited “Witch House” which was built and resided by Judge Jonathan Corwin, it’s said to be where the trials began and it’s (I think) the only structure still standing from the 1692 trials. Highly recommend. I also found the spot which is believed to be where the individuals were hanged. Very strong, weird energy there.
I found the title and, even better, I found the pdf for you!

I guess you could say if I identify as anything, it’s as a secular science-seeking witch. I picked up a book on a recent trip to Salem MA about the history of midwifery and nursing as it relates to witchcraft. In the old days, witches were the healers and the caregivers and they were far ahead of their time in terms of using herbs for healing (some herbs we still use today in medicine, digitalis to be an example.) What’s interesting is those people were cast out and replaced with “doctors” who at the time were literally just fucking priests with no medical training at all… hint hint, just more of the patriarchy doing its thing. This all to say it’s always been the religious fanatics who insert themselves into the realm of healthcare for the time and demonize those who actually believe in things which are more scientifically sound or evidence-based to some degree.
