Upon rewatching DS9 on an essentially "nonstop binge" the last month.

I sometimes wonder if one of three scenarios for the "ending" had played out instead of what happened. One where Ziyal lives and Dukat has a legitimate redemption arc. One where she dies and he has a legitimate redemption arc.

And one where the fight between The Sisko and Dukat is the important part of the episode. Not just like the last 15 minutes of a two part episode.

Oh, and in the other two, Wynn IS the final boss because I think she is. Just. The worst.

The literal worst "person", in my opinion.
