Okay I know this is random but it was a fun little experience I wanted to share and to ask everyone if they’ve ever had something similar happen.

So today I purchased Darktide and loaded it up not familiar with the 40k universe at all. I see the Ogryn class and immediately notice I can make him look like my gunner dwarf from DRG lol, why not, I’m not a lame leaf lover after all. After I’m done this guy literally looks like a DRG dwarf and Andre the Giant hybrid on steroids.

So I launch into a few matches and finally get one where it’s all Ogryn people like me and at the beginning of the match I decide to represent and throw a loud “ROCK AND STONE!!!” into the chat. Not expecting them to know I run ahead and fight some baddies, next few seconds I see in the chat “If you don’t rock and stone, you ain’t going home”.

The rest of the round was just the both of us saying “We’re rich!” upon finding random things and other fun DRG quotes lol. At the end I made a new Darktide buddy through DRG in a fun way.

Has anyone else “rock and stoned” outside of DRG and had a similar experience?
