According to news reports a brush fire broke out Saturday afternoon about five or so miles west of Deep Creek Hot Springs. As of Sunday afternoon the fire is not contained and is moving north. This is a ways away, but fires can move fast and shift directions if the winds pick up. Also there are reports of heavy smoke in the area. Perhaps not the best day to go to Deep Creek. Just a heads up. Be safe!
