I've lived here two years and haven't found the right thing to put up on this wall behind my couch (http://imgur.com/a/vyG4C). I took other pictures of other areas of the room to get a sense of how that has been decorated. I originally thought I wanted a large canvas of street art, but I haven't found anything that has stuck out to me in all this time. I know that would contrast highly with other decorations, but I actually kind of like that. I don't want to do more boxes since I have small ones on two walls already. I thought about mixed media art (metal/cloth/etc) but again haven't found anything, or I'm worried about it being too much of the same color scheme (reds/browns). Other decorative items in my home are metal, or stained glass, nature photography, and I've got prints of Alphonse Mucha's art nouveau style work. I'm generally drawn to arts & crafts style items (have two lamps like this).
The space between windows on the wall is 9 feet 8 inches (116 inches), and the space from the top of the couch to the ceiling is 6 feet (72 inches). Any input or idea is appreciated!
