Psychology of Totalitarianism?
Post Body

Has anyone read Mattias Desmet’s book or seen a decent critique of it or the concept of mass formation? My partner and his Dark Horse cronies are wild about this idea and say it explains EVERYTHING about everything. It seems to me like the dancing plague in France, or the Salem Witch Trials—social contagion, nothing new or exciting. And it’s not super relevant or ominous to me with regard to Covid response. What am I missing?
