Hi there!
This is an update to a post I made a few weeks ago - we now have more information. The solution suggested in the comments was determined to be incorrect, and we've been given a possible route to solve it.
Cipher: EUPTCRCDWPYKFQ
Key: PATRONUS
Clue: "The cipher text has been placed in three split Horcrux rails after being encrypted."
Theme: Could be either Harry Potter related or cybersecurity related
We are supposed to use a split rail cipher (likely using '3,' and is a rail fence cipher the same as a split rail?), then run that answer through a playfair cipher using the key.
Each time I've tried it, I've come up with gibberish.
I'd appreciate any help!
