Pieces

Chief

The Chief is the most important part of Fea. Only able to move one tile in any direction, if captured the game will end. The chief can capture and enemy piece if he moves onto its tile.

Guards

The guards are loyal to the chief, starting the game standing to either side of him. Moving diagonally as far as they want if the path is clear, they are the most mobile piece in the game.

Spearman

Able to move one or two tiles orthogonal if both tiles are clear. The spearman can capture two enemy pieces if they are both in its movement range (spearman moves two tiles).

Swordsman

Making up the bulk of your army, swordsmen can only move one tile forward orthogonal. They can only take a piece if it is directly in front of them.
