So I’m getting my 2nd story deck redone and am looking to put an aluminum railing with a drink rail on top. I like the sleek look of black, and we’ll be topping it with our deck material (TimberTech CoastLine). My contractor had been recommending STAR rail, but that looks kinda like the shit you’d see on apartments and you can’t add a topper to it.
Any recommendations aside from trex/timbertech/azek? I can see those at Dunn, but I don’t know what else is out there.
I’ve glanced at Fortress as well. Right now leaning towards Azek impressions express, but not sold on it.
