Not a deck...
Post Body

This is not a deck problem, but it has some similarities.

This is actually a floor (Ikea Runnen) that's laid around a hot tub. Of course, it's not a perfect fit but I can make it happen. After aligning the floor with the outside of the concrete pad and the door to the hot tub area, the floor does not align at all with the other side of the house. The gap is about 1.5" wider at the end than at the beginning. (Picture 1)

The idea was to fill the gap with a bit of trim as can be seen in the second picture.

The question; how can I nicely fill the widening gap with trim? Cut it in an angle matching the gap or will this just look really weird?

All tips and suggestions welcome!

Thanks!
